The 2024 ISMPP Academy, took place November 13-14 in Philadelphia. For the second year this meeting brought together professionals in medical publications and medical communications to discuss the latest trends and best practices in the field. The two-day meeting featured a series of insightful sessions, interactive workshops, and networking opportunities, all aimed at enhancing the knowledge and skills of attendees. The theme for this interactive meeting was Pages to Practice – Case Examples and Applications.
Key Highlights:
- Expert-Led Sessions: Speakers shared their expertise on topics such as ethical publication practices, data transparency, and the evolving role of digital media in medical communications.
- Interactive Workshops: Participants engaged in hands-on activities designed to apply new concepts and strategies in real-world scenarios, fostering practical learning and collaboration.
- Networking Opportunities: The virtual platform facilitated connections among peers, allowing for meaningful discussions and the exchange of ideas through community boards and live chats.
The 2024 ISMPP Academy was a great success leaving attendees equipped with new knowledge, practical tools, and a strengthened network to propel their careers in medical communications and publications.
