Dear Colleagues,
As we round out the year and enjoy the holiday season, I am writing with some very exciting ISMPP news! Our professional society continues to grow and evolve in an effort to best serve the needs of our members.
To reinforce ISMPP’s ongoing commitment to provide exceptional value to our members and sponsors, we’ve made an important strategic decision to create a new full-time staff role. Today, I am excited to announce that Nyla Nicholson, MPA, has joined our team as Manager, Membership and Partnerships bringing her many years of association management experience to ISMPP. Nyla will be focused on building awareness of ISMPP for potential new members and making sure that current members realize all the benefits of our society and that our sponsors realize the full value of their contributions. Be sure to say hello to Nyla in London next year for those attending the ISMPP European Meeting! Or drop her a line via email.
Also, as part of our growth this year we had multiple staff promotions. I am pleased to announce that Sharon Willis was promoted to Director, Education Content with the enriched strategic responsibility to ensure that ISMPP addresses the educational needs of publication and medical communication professionals across all channels. In addition. Deidra Renahan was promoted to Senior Manager, Conferences and Events with new responsibilities to further enhance our meetings and live engagements. Finally, Suzanne Fraga assumed expanded responsibilities for membership and sponsorships within her new title of Director, Operations and Membership. As always, I am so proud of our amazing ISMPP staff and the great work they do to serve our members!
