ISMPP and the University of Florida (UF) College of Pharmacy’s online graduate program in pharmaceutical outcomes and policy are pleased to announce their new educational partnership offering certificate, M.S., and M.S. + M.B.A. degree options to all ISMPP members and employees. The partnership provides tuition discounts of 50 percent off the first and last class of the online graduate program, as well as the potential to secure additional discounts for employers who send multiple students through the program.
All coursework is completed online in as few as five semesters, while allowing students to maintain full-time employment. The flexible and convenient graduate program offers specialty tracks in four highly relevant and in-demand areas of the pharmaceutical industry:
- applied pharmacoeconomics,
- managed care pharmacy systems,
- patient safety in medication use, and
- pharmaceutical regulation.
Classes are taught by experienced, world-renowned faculty with an applied and real-world focus. Almost 500 alumni have matriculated through the online program, using the degree to advance their career, change departments or practice areas, or achieve a lifelong personal goal.
“This new alliance between ISMPP and the UF College of Pharmacy will broaden our Society’s ability to address the educational needs of medical publication and communication professionals in the areas of health economics and outcomes research, managed care, regulatory science and patient safety, providing access to online graduate-level education in high-demand sectors of the health care and pharmaceutical industry,” said Robert J. Matheis, ISMPP President and CEO.
